Display of art of comic strip that emerged from collaboration of well-known and handicapped Belgian artists. November 1 - December 1. Part of KomiksFEST! 2012.

In November, Czech Centre Prague presents two exhibits by handicapped artists. The first one is FRÉMOK: MATCH DE CATCH / WALLONIAN COMIC STRIP. This exhibit is a result of cooperation of six couples composed by an artist from a respected comic strip publishing house FRÉMOK and a handicapped artist. Among outcomes of this cooperation, you will see books, paintings as well as video spots and statues.

FRÉMOK will be complemented by the project BARVOLAM / 3x FROM ADF by Inventura, o.s. This exhibit also displays pieces of art by handicapped artists, this time from Czech republic and from Ireland.

Thus the two exhibitions provide a large but fine picture from this domain, provoking us to questions for the nature of intelligence, creativity etc.

Exhibitions will be traditionally accompanied by Creative art games November 2, 10 AM to 5 PM, and by artists' commentary to the exhibition, November 2, 5 PM.
