CREATIVE ART GAMES / AD HOC!

Don’t miss our art workshop prepared by Lucie Haškovcová from the City Gallery Prague and Dana Zikundová from the Association of Graphic Designers. ENGLISH FRIENDLY!

As an accompanying activity to the paralell exhibitions AD HOC! and MYSTERY, the Czech Centre Prague organizes creative art games.

AD HOC! presents contemporary trends in one of the most visible fields of design: poster. Several dozens of posters were selected by Pekka Loiri, a well known graphic designer. You will find pieces by established names such as Kari Piippo, Jukka Veistola, Aimo Katajamäki, Hilppa Hyrkäs, Ilkka Kärkkäinen, Esa Ojala, but also by fresh faces such as Pekka Piiippo, Antti Raudaskoski, Jenni Kuokka. The exhibition, that is held under the auspices of the Ambassador of Finland, H.E. Päivi Hiltunen-Toivio, was created in cooperation with the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyne in Usti nad Labem and is a part of Designblok 2012.

While AD HOC! displays the widely recognized pieces of art by Finnish authors, MYSTERY presents graphic works by students from the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Finland. The exhibit is to be seen in Gallery Altán Klamovka (September 25 – October 14) and Hungarian Institute Prague (October 4-26).

The admission for the creative art games is always free. Start and end is individual, but regarding the school groups, it is advised to book the space.

All age groups are welcome. Czech language is not required!
