CHILDREN’S DAY / LEPORELOHRA

Come to celebrate the Children’s Day at the Czech Centre Prague!

The workshop was prepared by Lucie Haškovcová from the City Gallery Prague and is inspired by LEPORELOHRA, our current exhibition.

LEPORELOHRA was created by some of the most creative Czech artists – Petr Nikl, Ondřej Smeykal and their friends. It is more of a permanent workshop then a traditional exhibition. Everybody is encouraged to join in drawing, writing, cutting, crumpling, tearing and twisting. The main purpose of the exhibition is to constantly recording the emerging creative process of the visitors.

"It is a collective work. Everybody adds to the line or letter of someone else,“ explains Petr Nikl. Ondřej Smeykal adds: “You always have a crowd of people participating. We rarely get a single person drawing. Once you start, someone else starts to cut, crumble or scratch your creation.”

All age groups are welcome. Czech language is not required!

FREE ENTRY!
