VÁCLAV HAVEL: POLITICS AND CONSCIENCE

Exhibition in honor to the eightieth anniversary of birthday of Vaclav Havel. Czech Centre Prague is preparing a traveling panel exhibition that will be on view at the gallery from 21 April to 7 May 2016.

Vaclav Havel is most often characterized as a playwright, author of absurd drama. World perceives him as a global celebrity because of his dissident and presidential history. His name adorn many people, some of them cite him. The role of thinker who speaks to the present day, it admits few. His statements on the topic of freedom, or lack of freedom, as well as its challenges, which way to take in the future, set the merciless mirror to today's world.
