RECOLLECTIONS OF THE ISONZO FRONT
The traveling panel exhibition shows the fighting of the First World War in alpine regions, on the southern border of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire, in Czech Centre Prague from 22 September to 13 October 2016.

Project arose from collaboration Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia and the Military History Institute in Prague. On the Slovenian side, the content has been formatted byTolmin Museum, The Walk of Peace in the Soča Region Foundation and Milko Kos Historical Institute - Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (ZRC SAZU).
The exhibition "Recollections of the Isonzo Front" is composed of sixteen panels and shows the course of battles with special emphasis on the participation of Czech soldiers, among whom were represented by prominent Czech artists, such as painter Josef Váchal or writer Fráňa Šrámek. Furthermore, the exhibition shows life at the front in a time of peace or the memorials of fallen soldiers.
The exhibition is included in the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the First World War, taking place under the auspices of the Slovenian National Division. This union is the author of events that are held in Slovenia and abroad in the period 2014-2018 to commemorate the First World War. Representatives of Slovenian institutions are participated in European projects and become part of European activities.
The exhibition was created in cooperation with the Military History Institute and the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia.
